Beam me up, Scotty ... There's no Barq's down here!

Today, Jade dropped a bomb on my little world. Apparently, Coca-Cola will no longer be making Barq's. For a Barq's-aholic, such as myself, this is fantastically, terrible news. Horrendous, even. I know many people who love Barq's. We have trouble finding it sometimes because some places can't keep it on the shelves. (Which may be due to poor ordering, but still!)

I need to find out how to contact this company and get a price list and an order form from them. I have every intention of "stocking up" before they try to cut me off. I'm not letting this stuff go without a fight!

Thsiis the second time that Coca-Cola has left me high and dry. (Or will be.) The first time was with Nestea - original flavour. I used to drink , on average, about 6L in total of that stuff per day. My entire high school drank that stuff like it was going out of style. I guess it was. It took me a very long time to discover Barq's and I've been faithful to it since. I don't want to settle for other flavours!

GST cheques are out next month. Hokey Stinkmore, can I use the money! Moving isn't supposed to be expensive! Ah, well. It all works out eventually. I hope.

The move date has been ...w ell, it's been moved. We'll be moving items out at the end of the month. I've decided that my sanity is more important than a complete paycheque (can't spend it from teh looney farm, you know) and I've arranged to take next Monday off. I'll have to get all my packing done by then ifI haven't managed to catch up before then. Between work, riding lessons, keeping house, and finding some relax time AND spending time with Jade, there's not much more time for anything else. Still, I manage to get a few packed here and there.

I think I'll go pack a couple now.
